Wool from the Wensleydale is acknowledged as the finest luster long wool in the world. It is an endangered breed and is categorized as "at risk" by the Rare Breeds Survival Trust.

This fleece is extremely soft and silky, full of shine and comes with tiny tendrils. The backing material is brown Merino wool felt. There are cool silver grays, browns and white locks in this unique multicolored fleece.
